The Selection

"The Selection" Series is AMAZING!! I just finished the second book and I am dying of anticipation. My soul is aching with out knowing the conclusion!! HOLY CRAP I just looked up this book online and Canada made a movie out of it!!!!!!!!!!!!! SHOUT OUT to all my Canadian Viewers!!!!!

I shall tell you of this amazing book!! Thirty-five girls, were chosen to be in the Selection. This is an amazing opportunity for them. They get to be put in the castle with all the other girls and compete for Prince Maxon's love. They live in a society where they are put into ranks.You are born in these ranks and if you wish to move up, you have to marry up. Your rank determines EVERYTHING. Your job, how people look at you, and much more. "Ones" are the highest ranking. They are the King and Queen. The lowest is 8. They are almost homeless. After the selection, all 35 girls become threes. The winner gets crowned Queen and becomes a One. 

For America Singer(Protaginist also a Six), being Selected is a nightmare. It means giving up her secret love with Aspen(Seven), who is  below her. Leaving her home to enter a wild competition for a crown she doesn't want. Living in a palace that is constantly threatened by violent rebel attacks.

Don't Mess With Texas

It is a great day to be a San Martian! Beautiful and Sunny, in my opinion the best state out there! I always thought Texans were bombastic people. They have a reason to be! If you have ever talked to people in central Texas and learned about what Texas stands for. You would love it too. They go out of their way to be nice. I was sitting in Steak n' Shake(we will talk about there later) and this man with a mental problem was sitting there talking to him self. He ordered and it was known he couldn't pay. We told the waiter we would pay but he said almost every table had asked to pay for that man's meal. On that note, without further delay
